As an interior firefighter you'll be responsible for assisting in fire suppression, rescue, and search tactics at structure fires. Firefighters are also responsible for responding to and assisting in medical, including motor vehicle accidents. Duties at medical alarms include but are not limited to: driving an ambulance to and from scene and hospital, assisting EMTs with patient care, lifting and moving patients into and out of ambulance. Adult Volunteers at Camp Good Grief help provide a safe and caring environment for campers. They serve as group co-leaders, activity facilitators, provide security, or act as bus monitors, ensuring campers are supported throughout the day.

Youth Volunteers assist counselors and campers during group therapy and other camp activities including swimming, sports, games, arts & crafts, and special events. Volunteers must be 15 years old and commit to attending all 5 days of Camp.
