Participate in periodic trail maintenance, invasive species mitigation, and hazard tree management to help preserve and protect the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest and Slickrock Wilderness. Volunteers are essential for regular stewardship activities.

All of the fire departments in Clay County have consolidated and are looking for volunteers who are already firefighters and EMTs as well as volunteers who would like to be trained to be a firefighter or EMT.
