Evaluate new equipment and techniques. Maintain operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes. Provide information by completing reports. Maintain fire station building, grounds, and related equipment by completing maintenance schedules. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Volunteer Firefighters respond to emergencies during times that they are available to do so within Gustavus Township and it's neighboring communities. These emergencies include, but are not limited to: fires, auto accidents, farm and/or industrial accidents, weather related emergencies (high winds, flooding, tornadoes, etc.), releases of hazardous materials, and a variety of other search and rescue type needs.
