Getting involved with Sipesville Volunteer Fire Company is an incredibly rewarding way to make a positive contribution to your community. Sipesville VFC is currently looking for new members to be part of the firefighting experience, and members to support are local fundraising efforts. Firefighter Responsibilities - Become an active member in fire suppression and rescue operations, opportunities include: interior firefighter, exterior firefighter, hazardous materials response, Engine Operator, Tanker Operator, medical support, and basic rescue techniques (vehicle, farm, and rope rescue); you can choose to train in all mentioned opportunities or select those that best meet your desires and interests . Must have a strong willingness to support your local community, and maintain physical health. In addition, willing to support fundraising activities as needed and available. Bakersville Volunteer Fire Department
The Bakersville Volunteer Fire Department is in need of Active Firefighters. We cover a 50+ square mile area including Hidden Valley Ski Resort. We are also first due on all fires to Seven Springs Mountain Resort. Our department handles vehicle accidents, brush fires, structure fires, hazmat incidents, traffic control, and a range of other types of calls. We average 125 calls per year. We are also looking for members that are willing to help with fundraising, and the business side of the department. | Requirements: We will provide all necessary training to become a Firefighter.
