Volunteers are needed to help make the Tiffin-Seneca Heritage Festival a success. Opportunities are available in both the Downtown Area and the Heritage Village, and volunteers will be matched with areas of interest. This is a great opportunity for community groups and individuals to showcase their support and teach children the importance of volunteering.

Volunteer House Companions are needed to stay at the Safe House during weekends and weekdays, assisting with various tasks and providing support to residents. Shifts are available throughout the day and night, allowing volunteers to engage in other activities like studying or computer work during overnight shifts.

Help prepare and distribute Easter baskets to children in need. Volunteers will be involved in assembling baskets, organizing distribution events, and engaging with the community.

Morral Salt Rock Township Fire Department is looking for certified firefighters and EMTs for part-time shifts from 8:00am - 4:00pm 7 days a week. We are a combination department located in a mainly rural area, and we also cover part of State Route 23 north of Marion to the Wyandot County line. Starting pay is $15/hr for fire certified/EMT, $16/hr for fire certified Advanced EMT, and $17/hr for fire certified Paramedics. We take about 300 calls per year, which includes fire, ems, and other emergencies. Applications are available outside of the station at the bay door, or in the office during business hours. Volunteer Firefighter and/or EMT. No prior experience required. We will provide necessary gear and training. If you have a love for community, a desire to succeed, and are willing to sacrifice some of your personal time to improve yourself and help others, this may be for you. We meet and train two evenings a month and respond to about 130 calls a year. You are expected to respond to calls when you are reasonably available.
