We have many different types of membership(Fire Police, Communication Operators, Junior Firefighters & Full Firefighters). The two main category requirements are as follows: Junior Firefighter: must be between the ages of 16-18 and have a sponsor. Full Firefighter: must be at least 18 years old. Must be in good physical health and can pass a doctor provided physical as well as a background check. For Full Firefighters, you will be required to attend the Fire Academy and become certified as a NJ State Firefighter within your first year of being a firefighter.
