We average around 400 calls a year at our department. At Apollo Hose Company #2 we are always looking for motivated members to join our ranks. We have various classes of memberships currently including Class A firefighters these are active responders on various emergency calls. Class B fire personnel, these are what most would call a social member. These members help us out at all of our fundraising events to help raise funds for the department. Honorary members, these are members who respond on emergencies and function as firefighters but do not have voting right in meetings due to living out of our normal response area. Alot of honorary members may belong to their home company but help us out when they can. We also have a junior firefighter program; these members are between the ages of 14-17 and are developed to be Class A members if they wish. We also take in junior members who do not wish to become firefighters but would like to help out with our fundraising efforts. | Requirements: Must have working papers if joining as a junior member.
