We are a 100% volunteer department looking for new members to come join our team. The number of volunteers is dwindling fast and we need as much help as we can get. Assist in manning the museum at 317 N. Second Street on Wednesdays or Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Volunteers will help provide an overview of the museum to visitors and answer any questions they might have.

Help keep the Drake Log Cabin open and accessible to visitors. Volunteers will ensure the cabin is ready for guests and provide information about its historical significance.

At Apollo Hose Company #2 we are always looking for motivated members to join our ranks. We have various classes of memberships currently including Class A firefighters these are active responders on various emergency calls. Class B fire personnel, these are what most would call a social member. These members help us out at all of our fundraising events to help raise funds for the department. Honorary members, these are members who respond on emergencies and function as firefighters but do not have voting right in meetings due to living out of our normal response area. Alot of honorary members may belong to their home company but help us out when they can. We also have a junior firefighter program; these members are between the ages of 14-17 and are developed to be Class A members if they wish. The Lloydsville Volunteer Fire Department is a 100% volunteer Fire Department located in Latrobe, PA. The Fire Department is part of Unity Township and covers 27 square miles of the township. The Lloydsville Fire Department runs Fire and Rescue calls and assists the local EMS agency with medical emergencies when called. We run approximately 400-450 calls per year. We are looking for dedicated individuals to serve in the following roles: Firefighter (EMT certification is not required, will pay for training if interested) Associate Members- Members who may not want to be firefighters, but would like to help with fundraising activities.
