Volunteer for our HOPE Prison Mentoring Program, which focuses on mentoring prisoners who are being released and re-entering society. Provide nurturing support and case management services to help them plan for re-entry, ensuring they have housing, food, clothing, and after-care support.

Guest Services Volunteers play a vital role in enhancing the visitor experience at the Aquarium. They provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a welcoming and informative atmosphere for all guests.

Education volunteers at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium have opportunities to grow through progressing roles. They engage with guests and help inspire a love for animals and conservation through educational programs and activities.

Become a Unified Sports Partner® and work alongside athletes with intellectual disabilities in training and competition. This role involves participation in seasonal practices, generally 1 or 2 times per week throughout the season.

This is a short-term opportunity that involves providing assistance for programs or supporting a competition or event. No prior experience is required, and this role does not necessarily involve close physical contact with athletes.

Work directly with SOUT athletes through teaching and training of a specific sport. This seasonal commitment typically requires 2-3 hours per week for a minimum of 8 weeks per season.

Join a group of volunteer leaders who work together to strengthen and support Special Olympics Utah’s geographical areas. This role involves assisting with a specific competition committee in organizing and implementing sporting events at the area or state levels, with a time commitment of approximately 3 – 4 months leading up to the competition.

Assist in the protection and preservation of the Wasatch Mountains by participating in stewardship projects. Volunteers will engage in activities such as trail maintenance, habitat restoration, and educational outreach.
