East Taylor Vol Fire Company opperates out of 1 station and consists of 1 Rescue Engine, 1 Engine, 1 Brush truck, 1 Squad (utility vehicle), 1 Ambulance and 2 Boats. The ambulance is part of the Conemaugh Valley Ambulance Association which responds medic unit with the ambulance. The station also opperates as part of the Cambria County Water Rescue Team and Dive Team. This Team responds throughout the commonwealth for related incidents. Members also are trained in High Angle Rope Rescue, which members train annually to freshen up on skills. CTVFD is a 100% volunteer fire department located in the community of Tire Hill, PA (just south of Johnstown, PA) Our station is currently equipped with an Attack Engine w/ 1000 gallon water tank and quick dump capabilities, a 75' Quint Engine/Ladder, a Light Rescue equipped w/TNT tools and a 5 man Squad equipped w/ water rescue gear.
