Join our team! Our service area covers five square miles that includes rural, undeveloped forests and community planned homes. Our apparatus include: Engine, Tanker, QRS Squad, Brush Truck, ATV, and Rehab trailer. The services we provide are: *Quick response service (QRS) to aid and assist our residents and responding ambulance companies. The levels of medical training are EMR, EMT, and Paramedic. *Interior and Exterior firefighters respond to flooded basements, downed power lines, O2 alarms, fire alarms, pet rescues, mulch fires, traffic control, clear trees and branches, and so much more! *The Rehab unit is ready for deployment for long term incidents. The primary duty is support service for fire fighters. *Community Education/Outreach includes special events at the station which include pancake breakfasts, lunch with Santa, safety day/open house, and fundraise. *Car Seat Inspection team conducts car seat/safety checks to families who make appointments. Car seats can be loaned out to families who need assistance or are visiting the area. *Fire Police are ready to aid and assist local police with traffic control, perimeter control, and safety zones for situations of hazardous and dangerous conditions to keep the public safe. | Requirements: Team work, great attitude, a willingness to learn, and clean background are required. We do thorough background checks and you must be at least 18 years old to join our team. We offer free training for your area of interest. Trainings are offered weekday nights, weekends, and daytime during the summer.
