Holiday Island Fire Dept
Holiday Island Fire Department is seeking local and out of district volunteers who are interesting in learning the skills of being a firefighter or an emergency medical responder. This unique volunteer position serves the retirement community of Holiday Island, Arkansas and the surrounding area. Volunteers respond from home on emergency calls and help staff the station. All training and gear are provided. HIFD responds to 2.5 calls per day. Our services include basic life support medical response, fire suppression, auto extrication and water rescue. Volunteers may function as medical responders, firefighters, or both.
