Prayer Warriors are vital to the organization, offering spiritual support by praying for the needs of children, families, and the organization. This role involves regular prayer and spiritual engagement.

We are looking for individuals for both Active and Associate membership in our company. No prior training is required. Have access to a wide variety of classes provided by the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute at no cost to you. You can receive, Fire training, EMS training or both if you so desire. The main responsibilities are to assist people in distress, rescue fire victims and extinguish fires as quickly as possible. To accomplish these goals, a Volunteer Firefighter must perform a wide range of tasks. We reviewed several job listings to determine the primary duties of a Volunteer Firefighter. Inspect Equipment Communities rely on Volunteer Firefighters to inspect and maintain fire trucks, ladders, hoses and other fire-fighting equipment. Volunteer Firefighters regularly inspect their equipment for cracks, leaks, holes and other signs of damage. If a piece of equipment is damaged beyond repair, the Volunteer Firefighter submits a request for a replacement. Administer First Aid In addition to fighting fires, Volunteer Firefighters also respond to auto accidents and other emergencies. When responding to a fire or accident scene, a Volunteer Firefighter may have to administer CPR or perform other first-aid procedures. With special training, a Volunteer Firefighter may also perform basic life-support procedures. Suppress Fires A Volunteer Firefighter uses a variety of techniques to control and extinguish fires. Volunteer Firefighters use ladders, hydrants, hoses, fire extinguishers, and other tools to prevent fires from spreading. Provide patient concierge services, aid, and pampering to enhance the patient experience. Volunteers are expected to have a friendly demeanor and a commitment to patient care.

Work with a WellSpan-approved pet therapy organization to provide comfort and support to patients through pet interactions.

Preservation volunteers work with various cemeteries to restore headstones and beautify grounds from April through October. They participate in Second Saturday Preservation Days and other events, suitable for families, groups, and clubs.

Volunteers will engage in 12-step calls, offering support and guidance to individuals in need. This role involves direct interaction and requires a strong understanding of the AA program.

Logistics volunteers support events by setting up/tearing down, offering directions, distributing brochures, placing signs, and running errands. These roles do not involve public speaking and require a minimum shift of 2 hours.

Assist in teaching prophetic art lessons to children of all ages, helping them discover their inner creative talent and strengthen their true identity. Volunteers will support the lead instructor in facilitating art activities and engaging with participants.
