Provide a temporary home for cats and dogs in need of care until they are adopted. Volunteers will be responsible for the daily care and socialization of foster animals.

Assist with trapping feral cats throughout Cochise County as part of the trap, neuter, and release program. Volunteers will help manage the feral cat population by humanely trapping cats for spaying or neutering.

Help transport animals to and from veterinary appointments. Volunteers will ensure safe and timely transport of animals in their own vehicles.

Assist with creating and distributing flyers to promote the organization's programs and events. Volunteers will help raise awareness and support for the Humane Society's mission.

Application to participate in the Tombstone Fire Trunk or Treat event for 2018. Event will be held at the Old Tombstone Highschool football field Wednesday October 31, 2018. Tombstone Fire will provide lighting, hotdogs and power if needed. Event starts at 6PM (1800hrs). Trunk or treat particpaters should arrive at 5:30PM (1730) to park and set up. Participating groups that cannot complete online application should call the station. Must be 18 years or older All snacks and candy must be pre-packaged, no homemade goods. Display/Trunk must be able to fit in a 8’x16’ plot. Must bring your own tables, chairs and materials. Tombstone Fire Dept. is looking for firefighters to serve the City of Tombstone. Tombstone Fire Dept. is the oldest volunteer fire dept in the state of Arizona and the oldest department in the state. Become apart of one of the oldest professions in the country. These are not hourly paid positions but are quarterly paid and paid per call. If you are looking to start a career in the fire service we will fund your schooling (if available in the budget) and help you achieve your goals.
