KFICCC volunteers assist in inclusive childcare, preschool, and aftercare programs. Responsibilities include supervising children, supporting classroom instruction, and organizing recreational activities. Volunteers must be 15+ years of age and commit to a minimum of 40 volunteer hours annually.

Volunteers contribute to fundraising efforts and awareness campaigns, helping to raise crucial funds and spread the organization’s message to a broader audience. Their dedication and commitment are instrumental in creating a positive impact.

Volunteers assist in organizing and facilitating recreational activities, workshops, or support groups, providing a safe and inclusive space for individuals to connect and engage. They also offer one-on-one support and companionship to individuals with disabilities, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting social integration.

Assist staff with distributing mail, toiletries, and other items to clients, filing and completing paperwork, and helping with other tasks. Volunteers must be 21 years old and people-oriented with basic clerical skills.

Volunteers sort donations received during the week, organize them in the Clothing Closet, and help keep the closet neat and orderly.

Assist Eye Clinic staff with greeting clients, filing, and completing paperwork. Volunteers must be 21 years old.

Volunteers pick up food donations from area grocery stores/restaurants and deliver them to Shepherd’s Table. Volunteers must provide their own transportation.

Volunteers assist with setting up the dining room, food preparation, serving meals, washing dishes, and cleaning the kitchen and dining area after meals. Meal service volunteer times are available for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Provide input and leadership to SWANA YP initiatives, including webinar sessions, YP representative meetings, and SWANA's Student Design Competition.

Contribute to developing consumer-facing communication and education for proper battery and electronics disposal and the risk of improper handling.

Provide guidance on SWANA’s safety programs, resources, and initiatives, in coordination with SWANA staff and SWANA Safety Ambassadors. Support SWANA’s collaborations related to safety and review and rate the SWANA Safety Award Submissions.
