As a breast cancer survivor, provide mentorship and support to newly diagnosed patients. Volunteers are matched based on diagnosis, age, gender, and location to build trust and understanding.

Deliver comfort items to patients undergoing cancer treatment. This role involves direct interaction with patients to provide them with supportive items.

Coordinate, host, or participate in a knitting or crocheting group to create 'knitted knockers' for breast cancer patients and survivors. This role provides comfort items to those in need.

Engage with women's and men's organizations and social groups to promote PinkHippy.org's mission. Volunteers will help organize and assist with community outreach events.

Coordinate, host, or participate in a sewing circle to create after care pillows for breast cancer patients. This role supports the comfort and recovery of patients.

Provide on-call fire and emergency services and respond to emergency dispatch calls for combating and extinguishing fire. While standing watch in quarters, perform housekeeping/yard work, equipment and truck maintenance duties and daily check list, dispatch duties, respond to alarms and other tasks assisting in the operation of the department, as directed by the Lieutenant, Captain, Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief or Fire Chief. | Requirements: Graduation from High School and equivalent. Certified Emergency Medical Responder. Current AED Certification. Valid Massachusetts Class D driver’s License.
