The JHFD has openings for volunteer firefighters. The department covers the Jasper Highlands community and sits on the Cumberland Plateau in Marion County, Tennessee. The department is an "All Hazards" organization that responds to all emergencies with the exception of calls for law enforcement. The responses include structural, vehicle, and wildland fires; motor vehicle collisions; emergency medical incidents; rescues, and other miscellaneous community requests. | Requirements: We welcome a broad category of applicants and train new members to become firefighters.
