The following is a list of some of the desired qualities:  High school diploma with college preferred.  An interest in and an aptitude for firefighting and emergency medicine.  The ability to physically perform demanding tasks under stressful circumstances.  The ability to read and understand technical materials.  The ability to handle and operate technical equipment.  The ability to work well with others including peers and authority and maintain a courteous relationship with the general public.  Maintain good physical and mental health. | Requirements: Qualifications: The City of Riverview requires the following qualifications to apply for employment as a firefighter:  High school diploma or equivalent  Firefighter I & II  HAZMAT Awareness and Operations  Michigan Paramedic License | Categories: Firefighter, EMT
