Firefighters needed! Volunteer today! The Spearman Fire Department is looking for individuals with a desire to give back to their community and help their neighbors in need. The Spearman Fire Departments covers the City of Spearman and surrounding portions of Hansford County. We offer free training, safety equipment and a strong commitment to family and neighbors. No prior experience is required. Our training and business meetings are held every Thursday evening at 7pm. The fire station is located at 513 South Hazelwood Street in Spearman. Please stop in and speak with a member! | Requirements: No experience needed, however a strong commitment to safety and willing to serve your commitment is required! We do require attendance at weekly drills so that you may be properly trained for safe operation at emergency scenes. The process to become a fully qualified firefighter is long, but rewarding.
