Museum guides serve as hosts for visitors at the Springboro Area Museum, providing general knowledge of the stories and artifacts displayed. Volunteers can sign up for shifts on Saturdays in April and Fridays and Saturdays from May through November. Training and shadowing are provided.

Researchers explore various aspects of Springboro's history, including genealogy, local businesses, and the Underground Railroad. Research can be conducted at home or at the museum, with flexible hours to accommodate volunteers' schedules.

Event Assistants help with the setup, execution, and teardown of special events such as the Hotdog Roast or Ice Cream Social. Volunteers are needed to ensure events run smoothly and are enjoyable for all attendees.

Volunteers guide Springboro Schools third graders on a walking tour of historic downtown and the Null House. Each volunteer independently tells the story, with training provided by the UGRR leader. Tours occur weekday mornings for two weeks from late April to early May.

Volunteers lead tours that tell the story of Springboro's significant role in the Underground Railroad. New guides receive orientation and shadow experienced guides until they are comfortable leading tours independently. Tours are offered on designated weekends from April to October.
