The Harrisburg Fire Department serves an area of approximately 86 square miles. This area stretches from the Harrisburg Bridge to Mt. Tom, and 6 miles both North and South of Harrisburg. We participate in various community programs, including the Fourth of July Breakfast, Parade, and Fireworks show. It’s not uncommon to see fire trucks leading parades for out high school sports teams in celebration of district or state championships. You will see our team in action at various school functions, Including Health Fairs, Fire Prevention and giving tours of the Fire station. We have 3 career staff, a Fire Chief, Training Officer, and Firefighter.
