Volunteer Firefighter is an entry level position and reports to the elected officers of the Fire Department as well as the Board of Fire Commissioners. Assist community members by repairing various household items at the Esopus Repair Cafe. Volunteers with skills in repair and maintenance are encouraged to join.

Volunteer drivers are needed to deliver meals to residents in the Hyde Park area. Drivers work from 11 AM to 1 PM, one day a week, and are responsible for ensuring timely and friendly delivery of meals to clients.

Volunteer packers are responsible for preparing and packing meals for delivery. Packers work from 9 AM to 11 AM, one day a week, and ensure that meals are correctly packed and ready for distribution.

Assist Team Lacie Jae in reaching out to families in need within the community. Volunteers will help organize events, provide emotional support, and assist with various tasks to support families affected by cancer.

Join our group of 'Gardening Angels' to help maintain the beauty of the Beatrix Farrand Garden. Volunteers work under the direction of our horticulturist, Karen Waltuch, on Monday and Saturday mornings from 9am to 11am. The season runs from mid-April to late October, weather permitting.
