Dear Land and Homeowner , The Huckabay Volunteer Fire Department is proud to serve our community with dedication and compassion. As an all-volunteer organization, we are committed to protecting lives, property, and the environment. However, with the area’s growing population and increased traffic, our call volume continues to rise, creating greater demands on our team and equipment. Right now, one of our most urgent needs is funding for a new fire truck. Our current truck has served us well, but it’s aging rapidly. Without significant investment, it could be another 20 years before we have the means to replace it—and that’s too long for a community that depends on fast, reliable emergency response. As volunteers, we give our time freely to ensure Huckabay remains safe. However, maintaining and improving our ability to respond requires support from the community we serve. That’s why we’re asking for your help. Your donation will directly contribute to: Purchasing a new fire truck to better protect our growing community. Upgrading essential gear and equipment to keep our volunteers safe and effective. Providing advanced training to ensure the highest level of service. Every dollar counts. Whether you can contribute $100,$500,$1000,$10000, or more, your generosity ensures that our department can continue to provide the lifesaving services our community relies on. If you’d like to make a donation, you can do so by visiting InterBank and contributing to our account for the Huckabay Volunteer Fire Department or Mailing a check to 19909 N State Hwy 108 Stephenville Tx 76401.You can also follow us on Facebook to stay updated on our efforts and see how your support makes a difference. Thank you for standing with us in support of our mission. Together, we can secure the resources needed to protect Huckabay for years to come. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our efforts, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly at huckabayachief@gmail.com or Call 254-977-4487 | Requirements: The Huckabay Volunteer Fire Department is working hard to secure a new brush truck to better serve our growing community. This essential piece of equipment will enhance our ability to respond to grassfires, wildfires, and other emergencies in our rural area. We are thrilled to have been awarded a grant that will reimburse us up to $150,000, but there's a catch — we must first raise the funds to purchase the truck, which costs approximately $230,000. This means we need your help to cover the upfront cost before the grant can reimburse us. As an all-volunteer department, we rely heavily on community support to meet the needs of our area. Your donation will directly contribute to making this vital purchase possible, ensuring we can continue to protect lives, property, and the environment. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to our goal. Please consider donating today to help us secure this critical resource for our community. | Categories: Fundraising
