As a volunteer firefighter, you'll receive comprehensive training and ongoing education to ensure you're prepared for any situation. From firefighting techniques to medical response protocols, we'll equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to make a difference in our community.

As a first responder, you'll be part of a team providing round-the-clock fire protection, emergency medical services, safety inspections, and educational outreach. You'll receive training to handle various emergency situations effectively.

Help distribute school supplies to students in need for the 2025/2026 school year. Volunteers will assist with organizing supplies, managing inventory, and distributing items to families.

Assist with daily operations at the Sojourner House, providing shelter and support to individuals experiencing homelessness. Volunteers are needed to help with meal preparation, cleaning, and engaging with guests.

Connect with caregivers of individuals diagnosed with Dementia to provide support, socialization, and share knowledge of local resources.

Assist residents by clearing and/or treating sidewalks and driveways within 24 hours of a winter event due to health or safety reasons.

Assist individuals with grocery shopping by either shopping with them or for them. Many stores offer safe or time-saving options like online ordering or curbside pick-up.

Help individuals by running errands such as medical appointments, shopping, hair appointments, and other basic errands.

Join participants to improve their fishing skills under the guidance of Dave Erickson. Volunteers must go through a Class A Volunteer Orientation before volunteering.

Looking for a volunteer to lead a men's group in both our Assisted Living and Nursing Home. This group is flexible in activities such as reading the newspaper, chatting, or sharing a hobby.

Assist with polishing residents' nails and visiting every other Wednesday from 1:30pm to 3:00pm. This role is a great way to start volunteering on a one-on-one basis or in a group setting.

Share a hobby, play a game, lead a discussion, or teach a topic. Volunteers can bring items to share or lead a book club or leisure education group.

Lead a group, program, or game independently or as part of a small group. Volunteers must be comfortable facilitating activities for both small and large groups. Times may vary.

Volunteers are needed to visit, play games, or read to residents at Hillview Health Care Center. The time commitment is flexible, and volunteers must complete background and reference checks.
