Stover Rural Fire Protection District is looking for capable enthusiastic volunteers. Working out of 3 stations we receive calls for fire suppression, both structure and wildland, motor vehicle extrication and medical assist to the local ambulance district. The Versailles Rural Fire Protection District is an all volunteer department operating out of 3 stations with approximately 35 personnel, and running 500+ calls per year. We provide all of your gear and training free of charge. We are a progressive department that believes in training like you should perform. We are always seeking motivated men and women that want to make a difference in their community. Even if you don’t think fighting fire is right for you, we need apparatus operators, support personnel and medical first responders. No experience is necessary, we just ask that you have a desire to help others. Volunteers are welcome to join Food For Morgan County to support various activities within the organization. Volunteers with different skill sets can contribute to the program by helping with food distribution and other tasks.
