Perform the Star Spangled Banner at the opening of events. Volunteers should be able to sing the song unaccompanied in front of a crowd. Interested individuals should contact the organization to discuss scheduling.

Assist in delivering pet food and transporting animals to pet-related services. This role requires a flexible schedule and dependable transportation, as requests can be sporadic and urgent.

Help with administrative tasks such as pet food purchase and packaging, website assistance, data collection, monitoring accounts, and organizing other volunteers.

Join ElderPet to volunteer with your pet in animal-assisted activities and therapy through Pet Partners. If you don't have a pet, you can still help by serving as part of the crowd at evaluations in Durham.

Serve as a Parade Marshal to help guide and manage the parade procession. Responsibilities include carrying the parade flag, using walkie-talkies for communication, and ensuring the safety and order of the parade.

Join the minion army to help organize and manage the Portsmouth Halloween Parade. Responsibilities include gathering raffle prizes, selling parade swag, organizing events, and ensuring the parade runs smoothly.

Assist in scheduling speakers and organizing special events at the garden. Volunteers will help plan and execute community events to engage and educate the public.

Help manage the garden's social media presence by posting updates on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Volunteers will create engaging content to promote garden activities.

Assist with various gardening tasks such as weeding, turning compost, and spreading woodchips. Volunteers help maintain the garden's health and appearance.

Participate in developing a database and writing grants to support the garden's funding needs. Volunteers will work on grant proposals and research funding opportunities.
