Deliver straw to families in need to provide bedding for their dogs. Volunteers will coordinate with the organization to ensure timely and efficient delivery to various locations.

Assist in building chain link kennel systems for families with chained dogs in under-served neighborhoods. Volunteers will work alongside family members to construct safe and secure enclosures for pets.

Coach or assistant coach for ages 11-12 basketball! Commitment is twice per week. Practices will be once during the weeknights and games take place on Saturdays.

Coach or assistant coach for ages 15-17 basketball! Commitment is twice per week. Practices will be once during the weeknights and games take place on Saturdays.

Coach or assistant coach for ages 13-14 basketball! Commitment is twice per week. Practices will be once during the weeknights and games take place on Saturdays.

Coach or assistant coach for ages 11-13 girls basketball! Commitment is twice per week. Practices will be once during the weeknights and games take place on Saturdays.

Volunteers will engage with teens to provide mentorship and guidance, helping them develop leadership skills and independent thinking. Responsibilities include leading group discussions, facilitating activities, and offering one-on-one support.

Ages 18 and over: Firefighter, Medical Responder/EMT Ages 16 & 17: Jr Firefighter We provide free training, books, and gear to become Firefighter certified, then may obtain EMT certification and many other certifications in the fire service. | Requirements: Requirements for volunteering: Must reside in Huntsville Vol. Fire district. Volunteers are invited to join the OPEAT team to support their mission of bridging the digital divide. Responsibilities may include assisting with training programs, community outreach, and administrative tasks to support the organization's goals.

Maintain and update the TGRR website to ensure accurate and current information is available to the public.

Solicit and write articles for the TGRR newsletter, ensuring it is printed and distributed quarterly.

Conduct home visits for prospective adopters to ensure a suitable environment for the Golden Retrievers before placement.

Participate in adoption fairs during Spring and Fall to meet and greet the public, sharing information about Golden Retrievers and TGRR.

Assist with parking cars at Grasshopper’s baseball games and participate in planning and executing fundraising activities from April to September.

Respond to volunteer inquiries and assist in organizing volunteers for special projects within TGRR.

Develop and present educational programs about Golden Retrievers and responsible dog care to the public.

Promote TGRR’s activities and events through various media channels to increase public awareness and engagement.

Volunteers are needed to support various functions of the Triad Ballet, including assisting with events, performances, and administrative tasks. Volunteers can contribute their time and expertise to help the organization thrive.
