Professional Services Volunteers offer their specialized skills to support Valor Service Dogs. The organization welcomes volunteers with professional expertise to contribute to their mission.

General Volunteers support Valor Service Dogs through various tasks such as cleaning, maintenance, event assistance, fundraising, and gardening. Volunteers can choose their area of interest to contribute.

Puppy Coaches raise, love, and train service dogs in-training from the age of 12 weeks to 2 years old, helping them become mobility and PTSD service dogs for veterans. This role requires a commitment of 8, 10, or 20 months, attending weekly training classes, and practicing commands at home.

Volunteer as a teacher or assistant for youth field trips, helping to educate children about nature and the environment. Responsibilities include guiding groups, facilitating activities, and ensuring a safe and engaging learning experience.

Help maintain and update exhibits and displays at the center. Tasks include cleaning, organizing, and setting up new displays to enhance visitor experience.

Participate in the propagation and care of native plants. Responsibilities include planting, watering, and maintaining plant health to support local biodiversity.

Assist with events by providing logistical support and monitoring parking areas. Responsibilities include setting up, directing traffic, and ensuring smooth event operations.

Join the Mountain Bike Crew at Alafia River State Park and help maintain the bike trails that provide enjoyment for mountain bikers of all levels. Volunteers will work alongside experienced crew members to ensure the trails are safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Volunteers will assist in the daily care of rescued farm animals, ensuring they are fed, sheltered, and receive the attention they need. Volunteers will also help maintain the farm environment and support educational tours.
