While our primary function is protecting the residents of Milmont Park, Pa and the surrounding communities of Ridley Township, we are very active with fire prevention, community events and activities. We operate 4 Basic Life Support Ambulances with 1 paid EMS crew of 2 people 24/7, year round, 5 pieces of fire apparatus and the Ridley Township Hazardous Materials Spill Unit. The company ran 253 Fire related emergencies for 2015 and are on pace to surpass that for 2016. We host Bingo on Monday and Friday nights, as fundraising, as well as selling Christmas trees, Mothers Day, and Easter flowers. Due to Insurance liability Ridley Township has advised that no township fire company can operate a tag day, so that is one big one we cannot do. | Requirements: There are no requirements for any of the above listed positions, the fire company will pay for all necessary schooling or training that is needed for the position.
