Assist with events such as the Maple Sugaring, Adult Egg Hunt, Earth Day, Monarch Fest, and Duck Hunt. Volunteers will help with event setup, management, and cleanup.

Assist in greeting visitors, answering phones, and providing general park information. Volunteers will be trained on the everyday functions of the Nature Center and will shadow a staff person before starting.

Participate in pop-up work days for weeding, mulching, and pond clean-up. Volunteers can also adopt a garden to maintain.

Assist with crowd control, first aid, and leading crafts/activities during summer camps. Experience working with children is preferred. Training is mandatory before camp days.

Help with activity preparation, assist with animal shows or hands-on activities, answer client questions, and manage trash removal and clean-up after parties.

Work with MTBMD to help keep trails clear and manage invasive species. Volunteers will be coordinating with a partner organization.

Assist with leading dipnetting rotations, crowd control, and animal presentations during field trips for children from Kindergarten through middle school. Training is offered in the spring and fall.

Engage with visitors at the George Spangler Farm, sharing knowledge about Pennsylvania barns. Volunteers are needed every Sunday during the summer season, with shifts available from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Training and resources will be provided.

Assist with organizing and managing choral rehearsals and performances. Volunteers will help with setting up venues, managing music sheets, and supporting the choir directors during events.

Provide a temporary home for dogs in need until they find their forever homes. Foster parents are responsible for providing love and care, while the organization covers food and medical expenses.
