Participate on various committees to plan the Ridgway RiverFest event or pick a volunteer assignment on the day of the event to help set up, take down, interact with festival goers, or keep the day moving along.

Join a working group focused on education about safety, etiquette, and opportunities in recreating around the Upper Uncompahgre River Watershed, as well as improving conditions for water recreation.

Share hydrology and watershed cycle information with students of all ages through short articles, in classrooms, on field trips, and at annual events.

Support the organization and execution of educational ROCC Talks featuring experts and leaders. Volunteers may assist with event setup, guest coordination, and technical support.

Participate in highway cleanups to maintain and beautify local roadways. Volunteers will help pick up litter and ensure the area remains clean and safe for the community.

Help take water quality samples for specific projects or for a monthly monitoring program, or join our team who will monitor conditions in the Ironton Park area.

Assist with recycling efforts during Ridgway Concerts in the Park. Volunteers will help manage recycling bins and educate attendees on proper recycling practices.

Volunteers typically work one Thursday a month at the food pantry, assisting with food distribution and other tasks. There are also opportunities to help with fundraising, receiving food deliveries, and special events.
