Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue is looking for dedicated community members to join our team. We average nearly 3000 calls a year with 5-6 career personnel on duty each day and our volunteers are essential for us to provide responders on larger incidents and subsequent calls to 911 when the career staff is already committed. | Requirements: We provide the background and medical screenings to join. We train to NFPA Firefighter 1 standards. Assist in organizing and executing fundraising events to support the Columbia Gorge Humane Society's mission. Volunteers will help with event planning, coordination, and outreach efforts.

Assist with maintaining the grounds of the Columbia Gorge Humane Society. Duties include landscaping, gardening, and general outdoor upkeep.
