Last night DALE CITY VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTNMENT crews staffed and responded to dispatched 911 emergencies in Prince William County. We responded from DCVFD stations on DCVFD apparatus. We staff on nights, weekends and holidays. Join our ranks as active volunteer FIREFIGHTERS and EMTs. All training, equipment, and gear is provided. No previous experience is required. Members must stay overnight and be available for all department duties. - If a member cannot be present for his/her own duty, then the member shall be required to find a replacement to fill in. - Provide support to any DCVFD function deemed necessary by the Board of Directors or Senior Staff. The Board of Directors and/or Senior Staff may deem certain functions of the DCVFD to be necessary to ensure the successful operation of the DCVFD. - Attend the General Membership Meeting held the second Wednesday of each month. - Complete training for certification to satisfy minimum staffing within the first year of membership. - Satisfy formal and informal training to achieve staffing status within the first year of membership. - Attain and maintain compliance with the adopted uniform rank structure.
