Provide a temporary home for animals while the center seeks permanent placements. Fostering helps alleviate overcrowding and gives animals a safe environment.

Assist with organizing and participating in fundraising events such as Casino Night and Golf Tournament. Volunteers can also help with spay/neuter programs and other fundraising activities.

Volunteers are needed to help with cleaning dog kennels and cat rooms, feeding animals, and providing companionship through walking and playing. Volunteers are welcome any day of the week between 8:30am and 4:30pm.

BVFD is looking to recruit new members to join our department, 100% volunteer department, all members are trained and prepared to tackle all calls encountered. Gear and supplies are supplied by the department. Vehicles are equipped with the latest technology and equipment with new trucks coming. We are a family.
