Buddies assist athletes with disabilities in batting, catching, throwing, and running during games. Volunteers can be schoolmates, parents, students, athletes, business leaders, or any individuals or groups wishing to volunteer their time.

Puppy Coaches raise, love, and train service dogs in-training from the age of 12 weeks to 2 years old, helping them become mobility and PTSD service dogs for veterans. This role requires a commitment of 8, 10, or 20 months, attending weekly training classes, and practicing commands at home.

Join WWALS in organizing and participating in monthly paddle outings and cleanups on rivers, lakes, and swamps in the Suwannee River Basin. Volunteers will help guide participants and ensure safety during outings.

Assist in testing the water quality of rivers in the Suwannee River Basin. Volunteers will be trained to use Petrifilms for bacterial testing and help monitor the impact of spills and other pollutants.

Puppy Sitters provide temporary care for service dogs in-training when Puppy Coaches are unavailable. This role is ideal for those living near Tampa, FL or Valdosta, GA, and requires availability on weekdays and weekends.
