Assist in organizing and managing the annual Run For The Trails event. Volunteers are needed to help with event setup, registration, and guiding participants during the race. Your involvement will ensure the success of this community event promoting local parks and trails.

Upon completion of EMT training, students are required to perform and pass hands-on skills testing as well as take and pass a national registry test. All expenses incurred for training will be paid for by the Sterling Fire District upon completion of the application and background check. The Firefighter 1 classes are typically held at the Wayne County Fire & Rescue Regional Training Facility in Apple Creek. Applicants will be required to complete the classroom and hands-on training and the hours are approximately 190 hours for FF1 and skill testing. Provide care for the foxes, including feeding, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring their health. Volunteers will work closely with the sanctuary staff to ensure the well-being of the animals.

Participate in fieldwork at real archaeological sites in Northeastern Ohio under the guidance of trained archaeologists. Volunteers will contribute to the understanding of the human past through archaeological discovery and preservation.

Assist with maintaining the sanctuary's facilities and grounds to ensure a safe and clean environment for the foxes. Responsibilities include general upkeep, repairs, and landscaping.

Help promote the sanctuary's mission and events through various marketing and social media platforms. Volunteers will create content, manage social media accounts, and engage with the community online.

Participate in building and painting sets for theatre productions. Volunteers will work with tools and materials to create visually appealing stage environments.

Help with the creation and maintenance of costumes for theatre productions. Tasks include sewing, fitting, and organizing costumes for performances.

Support fundraising efforts by organizing events and campaigns to raise funds for the theatre. Volunteers will engage with the community to promote the theatre's mission and activities.

Assist with technical aspects of theatre productions, including lighting, sound, and special effects. Volunteers will help set up and operate technical equipment during shows.
