Madison Fire Department
Working under direct supervision, and while operating in a team environment, responds to and assists in a variety of emergency and non-emergency situations including structures, transportation, wild lands and medical emergencies. Performs emergency equipment maintenance and performs routine station maintenance duties. Performs community fire and injury prevention responsibilities. This will be an entry level position within our department. Responsibilities are to obtain the training needed to respond to emergencies within the fire district. This training can be obtained through in house trainings, meetings, NC community college system, or on the job training.
