A Health and Welfare Attendant is responsible for feeding the animals and cleaning cages, litter, and floors. Once these tasks become routine, other responsibilities such as medicating animals may be added.

Assist in organizing and volunteering at events such as wine tastings, petting zoos, and spaghetti dinners to enrich the community and raise funds for the shelter.

Assist with fixing odds and ends around the shelter, such as securing shelves and platforms. Ideal for individuals handy with tools and able to lend their expertise.
