The Watertown Vol. Fire Department is seeking certified or non-certified recruit applicants for our department. If accepted, the Firefighter is responsible for responding to medical calls for service, wrecks, and fires within our district. in 2020, WVFD responded to over 600 calls for service. The Firefighter will be responsible for apparatus checks, training, daily chores, and staying "combat ready" for calls. A volunteer rescue responder with the Cannon County Rescue Squad, Inc. is an exciting opportunity to help serve in Cannon County, Woodbury, and Auburntown, Tennessee. Responders carry two-way radios and are dispatched from their homes to respond to a wide array of emergencies. Our primary type of response is to motor vehicle collisions. We use the world famous Jaws-of-Life to free victims from wreckage. We also respond to all of technical rescue needs of Cannon County, Woodbury, and Auburntown.
