Reading Buddies engages older adult volunteers in promoting childhood literacy by reading to students weekly. Volunteers must complete a background check and commit to a full school year.

Help drive cats to or from CPAW NJ clinics on Monday mornings or afternoons. Even one trip a month can make a significant impact.

Attend tabling or education events to spread the word about CPAW NJ and their mission to help community cats.

Utilize your skills in social media, video production, or writing to help CPAW NJ spread awareness and engage the community.

Provide a warm space for trapped cats to rest in their traps. Feed and clean their cages twice daily, typically from Saturday or Sunday until Tuesday or Wednesday.

Train with an experienced trapper to learn tips and tricks for trapping cats. Then, head to a location on your own or with a friend to help manage the population of outdoor cats.

Volunteers help on Wednesday bagging nights, Thursday morning truck deliveries, or Sunday distribution mornings. Tasks include: stocking bags with food items, prepping paper/plastic bags for future bagging, organizing food supplies, helping clients carry bags to their cars, completing paperwork required by the Food Bank.
