Greeters welcome participants and help them feel comfortable as they arrive for support sessions. They play a key role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Volunteers may help in a variety of ways, including joining as a corporate volunteer group, spending time with individuals, assisting in agency fundraising events, or helping office staff with administrative tasks. Skills-based volunteering opportunities are also available.

Volunteers are needed to mentor and support our Shining Stars as buddies, helping them grow in confidence and learn more about themselves and the world around them. Volunteers will participate in various events and programs throughout the year.

Volunteers at the Center for Hope Hospice & Palliative Care engage in various service programs that allow them to utilize their interests and talents. Each volunteer is appreciated for their contribution, and there are many opportunities to meet new people and face interesting challenges.

Volunteers help maintain trails by removing fallen trees, cleaning drainage pipes, and ensuring trails are safe and accessible. Tasks may include applying gravel and pruning vegetation.

Provide care for children while their parents receive services such as counseling or skills training. Volunteers must have childcare experience and complete DV 101 Training.

Offer emotional support and legal options to domestic violence survivors at the Union County Courthouse. Bilingual volunteers are preferred, and a commitment of one year is required after completing 40-Hour DV Training.

Join the 24-Hour Crisis Response Team to provide crisis intervention, support, and resources to survivors of domestic violence. Volunteers must be 18+, have a valid NJ driver's license, and complete a 40-Hour DV Training with a commitment of one year.

Assist with general office duties including filing, organizing supplies, and sorting donations. Volunteers must be 18+ and commit to two or more hours per week.

Provide resources, referrals, and support to callers on the 24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline. Volunteers must be 18+, complete a 40-Hour DV Training, and commit for one year.
