Central Hickory Fire Rescue is accepting applications for Firefighters, EMT’s and EMR's. We also have paid training opportunities to get your Firefighter 1&2, EMR and EMT licensures. Central Fire operates out of 5 stations covering 201 square miles of Hickory and Benton County. With increasing call volumes the help is needed. 2018 calls were 110 per year in 2021 its expected to be over 500 calls for service. With a current staff of 33 Firefighters and 8 Admin/Board members.
