Williams Community Forest Project
Volunteers are needed to assist with the Cedar Flat Forest Watch Efforts. Responsibilities include monitoring forest conditions, reporting findings, and supporting conservation activities from September to December 2024.
Williams Fire Rescue
Volunteer opportunities for Structural Firefighters, Wildland Firefighters, EMS, and Support Group. The Williams RFPD (WRFPD) serves the community of Williams in Josephine County, Oregon. Most structural firefighters also train for and respond to wildland fires and EMS calls, however, there are also opportunities for people who want to focus on a single discipline. We are also always looking for additional support group members. | Requirements: Volunteer applicants should have a sincere desire to serve the local community. They should be in relatively good health, reasonably fit for the level of service they are applying for and able to pass a drug screen and background investigation. Strong preference for applicants who live within the Williams RFPD district.
