Assist in organizing and facilitating the annual CWRA Spring Meeting. Responsibilities include setting up the venue, managing registration, and supporting attendees throughout the day.

Facilitate Twelve-Step Recovery meetings, providing support and guidance to individuals affected by alcoholism and addiction. Volunteers will help create a welcoming and supportive environment for attendees.

Assist with transporting dogs to vet appointments, adoption events, and other necessary locations. Volunteers will ensure safe and timely transportation for our animals.

Support youth activities by helping organize events and programs that benefit young people in the community. Volunteers will assist in planning, coordination, and execution of youth-focused initiatives.

Help screen potential applicants and find the perfect match for our dogs. This role involves interacting with potential adopters to ensure the best possible match between our dogs and their adoptive homes.

Participate in organizing and executing fundraising events to support the rescue's mission. This role involves creative thinking and community engagement to raise necessary funds.

Assist in organizing and participating in community service projects such as food drives, clothing drives, and holiday toy drives. Volunteers will help with logistics, distribution, and community engagement.

Capture high-quality photos and videos of the dogs for promotional purposes. This role is ideal for those with skills in photography and videography.

Engage in various activities such as hosting car washes, bake sales, and educational projects to support the rescue. This role is open to students in elementary, middle, or high school.

Volunteers handle dogs at adoption events, sharing their stories with potential adopters. This role requires a commitment of a few hours on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Assist with transporting dogs to and from foster homes, vet offices, and other locations. Volunteers need a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Assist in organizing and conducting fundraising events to support the rescue's efforts. Volunteers help raise additional funding necessary for the care of the dogs.

Volunteer screeners play a critical role in our organization by calling applicants, verifying information, checking vet and personal references, and calling landlords when applicable.
