The Wytheville Fire Department Is looking for volunteers to join our department. We are a rural fire department in southwest Virginia. Many of our firefighters are 15+ year veterans of the fire service. We are looking for a new generation of volunteers to fill our aging ranks. All training classes and equipment are provided. | Requirements: All applicants must be over 18 years of age. Pass a medical evaluation and drug test. Have a clean driving record, Virginia driver's license and pass a criminal history check. Must be able to attend at least 20% of fire calls, meetings and training.
