Trained volunteers are at the heart of the Center for Grieving Children. They support the program as it provides grieving children a safe space to receive peer support, information about the grieving process, and engage in commemorative activities. VEX Robotics is a great opportunity for someone interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Volunteers in this program will work with the STEM Coordinator to teach Club members how to build functional robots with the potential to compete and go to the VEX Robotics World Championship.

Students in the Page Turners program meet weekly with certified teachers and volunteer tutors who cooperate with the student’s classroom teachers. The weekly meetings with caring adult tutors create strong bonds increasing the program’s impact as well.
