Join other garden enthusiasts to help revitalize Arlington's beautiful historic garden. Volunteers will engage in gardening, landscaping, and historic landscape restoration activities.

Volunteers are needed to serve as weekend tour guides at the historic Jason Russell House. This role involves educating visitors about the history of the house and the significance of Arlington's heritage.

Drive Food Link vans to various destinations for grocery shifts, pickup/delivery shifts, and bulk-pickups. Requires a valid driver’s license and completion of a 1-hour van training.

Groups of 2-5 volunteers meet at the loading dock of a grocery store to sort and pack rescued food. Quality sorting is crucial to ensure that our agencies receive high-quality food and their recipients receive food with dignity and respect.

Drivers pick up food from donors and deliver it to recipient agencies or the Food Link Hub. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required. Passengers of any age can assist with loading and unloading.

Volunteers sort food and then load boxes into their personal vehicle for transport to a recipient agency or back to the Food Link Hub. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.

Volunteers are needed to assist shoppers at the Arlington EATS Market, help unload delivery trucks, pack food bags, deliver food, and process donations. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to work at the Market, while those aged 13-15 can participate in other activities without a parent or guardian.

Make contactless deliveries of food bags to homes in Arlington. Volunteers must have their own car and be available on Thursdays from 12 PM to 2 PM.

Help process community food donations by checking dates and stocking items on shelves. This opportunity takes place on Tuesdays from 1 PM to 4 PM and is suitable for volunteers aged 13 and older.

Assist in setting tables with fresh flowers, colored napkins, utensils, and pitchers of water. Serve salad and hot dinner to guests, clear plates, and assist at the dessert table.

Act as the head of activities related to caring for the land according to conservation guidelines. Responsibilities include drafting documentation and overseeing annual monitoring activities.

Help sort and maintain physical archives to preserve the history of the Brooks Estate. Volunteers will work on organizing documents and photographs for future generations.
