In the Music Memory program, you will work with Alzheimer’s patients to communicate through music. This role helps patients find renewed meaning in their lives through personalized musical experiences.

Join the sound crew to assist with stage setup, sound checks, and recording during concerts. Volunteers will gain hands-on experience in sound engineering and event management.

Volunteers are paired with senior citizens to become pen pals, exchanging letters one to two times per month. Volunteers receive guidance on how to address letters and communicate with seniors.

Volunteers create or purchase cards with uplifting messages to be distributed among the elderly in long-term care facilities and homebound seniors. Envelopes are not necessary, and cards should not be addressed to one person in particular.

Assist in translating documents from Spanish, French, or indigenous Central American languages into English. This includes handwritten declarations, client narratives, birth certificates, and other legal documents.

As an Administrative Support Volunteer, you will provide office support for the Unity Hospice team. Tasks may include organizing mailings, computer work, and creating care packets to assist in the daily operations of the hospice.
