Assist in the daily care and rehabilitation of rescue animals, ensuring they are fed, groomed, and provided with a safe environment. Volunteers will also help in maintaining the sanctuary facilities.

As a volunteer at Community Link, you will assist in various tasks to help fight hunger in the community. Responsibilities include sorting and distributing food, helping clients with pantry appointments, and maintaining a clean and organized pantry environment.

Volunteers are responsible for cleaning pastures, grooming and fly spraying horses, restocking supplies, and cleaning tack. Those with appropriate horse experience may walk or exercise horses. Volunteers also assist with event setup and other tasks.

Blue Mound Fire Department is currently accepting applications to test for volunteer firefighters. Must be able to commit to Tuesday night and occasional weekend training. Ambassadors in the Care category are responsible for providing love and care to the horses, including grooming, spending quality time, and mucking stalls and paddocks. This role requires a commitment to serving the horses as their advocate, caregiver, and friend.

Ambassadors in the Facility Maintenance category help maintain the ranch facilities, ensuring they remain in premium condition for the horses. Tasks include trimming trees, managing weeds, and deep cleaning barns.

Ambassadors in the Training category assist with the training of horses, including basic groundwork and desensitizing exercises. Volunteers help horses learn to trust humans again and prepare them for adoption.

MHMR volunteers serve in various capacities, providing administrative support and working in facilities across Tarrant County. Volunteers can gain valuable job experience, learn new skills, and enjoy the satisfaction of giving back to the community.

As a Quality Control Volunteer, you will work together to sort and pack fresh produce, nonperishable foods, and household items, preparing them for distribution. Duties may include checking for expiration dates, quality control, labeling cans, and bagging products.

In the Community Kitchen, volunteers prepare healthy meals from scratch with guidance from on-staff chefs. You will assist with packaging and labeling meals, as well as kitchen cleanup.

As a Food Distribution Volunteer, you will help distribute food at mobile distributions and provide cheerful service to clients. Responsibilities include assisting with setup and teardown of the distribution area.

Help distribute vouchers to families at local Farmers Markets, allowing them to purchase fresh produce. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Join the Community Gardens team and participate in all aspects of gardening, including planting and harvesting. All produce harvested will go directly to families in the 13-county service area.

As an AIR Responder, you will provide relief and safety to animals in large-scale cruelty situations or disasters. Responsibilities include animal intake, transport, emergency sheltering, and providing veterinary support. Volunteers must be 18 years or older and attend a Responder Orientation.
