The Summers County Volunteer Fire Department is always looking for new members to join our ranks and help serve our community. We offer many positions from Firefighter, Engineer, Jr. Firefighters and many more opportunities such as special operations team. Our department is 100% volunteer located in Hinton, WV. We currently have two stations: Station 1 located at 80 Hinton Bypass and Station 2 located at the corner of Elk Knob Road and Tug Creek Connection Road. While we are a smaller volunteer organization we maintain big department aspirations and goals. Currently we respond to approximately 150-200 calls for service per year which is average for southern WV. | Requirements: Jr. Firefighter - Must be 16 years of age.
