Evergreen Fire Company is 100% Volunteer. We cover a large district along with our sister Fire Company Berkeley Hills station 247. Evergreen is made up from a many different types of people- CPA's, Business owners, construction workers, and medical professionals. We average around 300 calls per year and growing. We house two engines and a utility. To find out more about our apparatus please check out the apparatus page. Evergreen is quite a unique Fire Company along with other ones in Allegheny County because of a program the Community College of Allegheny County offers to us. Please check out the Fire Vest tab for more information. We have training on Tuesday nights where our members train to better themselves in firefighting tactics and to provided the community with the best fire protection possible. We also staff our fire house at least two nights a week besides Tuesday. Those days are Wednesday and Thursday we do this in a effort to reduce the home response to better serve the community.
